I was looking for something my mom could use with her TV in the living room. I wanted something with moderate bass and full sound, but not so much that it would bother the neighbors (living in a shared apartment). Reviews for this soundbar were good, and I love how you can control the bass and treble settings right from the remote - no need to download a companion app. The soundbar arrived quickly and well packaged. Was there on vacation, installed in 5 minutes. You have various connection options: Bluetooth, optical cable, cinch (red/white), stereo AUX input or USB. Optical cable and RCA cable included. The sound is excellent - not too much treble or bass for the area it's used in (roughly 12 x 30 feet). The presets were actually good, but you could further tweak the sound with the bass/treble settings. Provides great surround sound for movies but also sounds great when listening to the news or music. Remote control buttons include: 3 sound presets (movie, dialogue, music), up/down arrows to adjust treble and bass, multifunction navigation pad, mute and reset button. If you have connected a USB music source, you can use the FF/Rev/Pause/Play buttons. Batteries are included in the remote control.
