
It was easy enough to hook up to my power system to monitor how much power my desktop is using. The hardest part was getting it into the 4" x 4" x 4" gray PVC switch box. It took some time to make a hole in the lid. Read it like a matching file. The wired connection was pretty easy. The diagram on the back of the device was easy enough to follow. I measured the length of the cable connected to the current transformer. Eight inches from the body to the end of the wire. That was more than enough for my situation. The box I used easily accommodates the display and power converter and is easy to see day or night without being too dark or too bright.
