I didn't understand how to make a good basket out of a 68 liter bag. In the photos, I cycle a short distance to work. This bag has EVERYTHING - books, lunch, coffee AND water bottles, a laptop and still room to empty all the different items I bring home from the store. When I received it I was surprised at how easy it was to straighten out and sit perfectly on the C-pillar. A few clips, straps and in 3 minutes it was ready to use. The bags have also been accompanied by a hard plastic backing, which comes in handy when filling the bags so the outside doesn't protrude into the wheel. If you live in an area that gets a lot of light rain, you definitely need rain gear. Just unfold it and wrap the entire bag from side to side. If the bag isn't full enough, the protective bag has drawstrings to keep it in place. A special retractable bag for it is also very convenient. What I like best is that it has ample pockets big enough to hold and organize a ton of stuff. If you pack a lot of stuff but still want to ride a bike, this basket is the right choice for you.
