So far so good.* * *Original Review* * *The polishing tool arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised. The instrument was well packaged and undamaged. It arrived as pictured and included the tools necessary to assemble it. There was even an extra set of brushes which is nice. The instrument itself is undoubtedly of Chinese origin but appears to be of decent quality. The gearbox has only a small gap in the gears, and the output shaft rotates correctly, does not dangle or wobble. The cable isn't plastic, it's rubber. It's not SJOOW quality but way better than what I expected for the price. Also, it's about 6 feet long, which is a nice feature. The guard/handle is easy to assemble and has a roller at the base to keep it level while buffing. A feature that not all budget cars have. It came with only one fleece wheel but for the price it's ok. The instructions were mostly junk, as you'd expect, but assembly was obvious and easy. I am 100% sure that the drive unit itself is identical to several other brands that cost 2-3 times more. Basically I'm satisfied so far. The top model from Metabo costs around 1,000 euros. I could own 8-9 of these for the same price. I will update this review after spending a few hours on it.
