I really enjoy putting this set together. However, I warn you, this is NOT for beginners. Even if you are impatient, forget it. This will require a lot of patience. This is not a large kit, it is only about 14 inches long and about 20 inches high. However, it is quite complicated and consists of many extremely small details. I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the instructions. Trust me when I tell you they are TERRIBLE. Unbelievably bad. Just an instruction sheet explaining how to assemble the whole ship and another sheet for sails and rigging. There are a number of videos on Utube covering the entire build of the kit. You will need them to explain most of the build process. They are called "HMS Victory Wooden Model Set #1 to #18".
