Review on 🧵 Sew Your Own Purses with Serabeena: A Fun and Creative DIY Project! by Gervan Mauldin

This was a Christmas present for my 6 year old girl who was asking to learn to sew. She immediately got to work after receiving her gift and she loves it. Pros: * I love that everything you need to create each handbag is packaged in a separate clear plastic * Loads of thread for each project * Cute and easy little projects for kids * Pre-cut pieces, pre-punched holes * Needle is plastic and eyelet big enough for little hands to thread through.* Needle goes through pre-punched holes fairly easily.* Easy to figure out what to do. Cons: * Although the material appears strong, it stretches easily and can tear small pre-drilled holes (it didn't tear on mine but was pretty close). * It's hard for little hands to pull such a long thread through a project. However, I don't think this can be avoided (unless you remove a few inches of string, but then you don't know exactly how long you'll need the tip).* The instructions are too simple, all pictures and no Explanation. A simple explanation of how to tie a knot on the thread to secure the first stitch would be helpful in the guide (currently the guide suggests starting without a knot and leaving the thread as it is, which eventually comes out and ruined the purse, besides making them look unfinished, just chatting).
