I bought this item for a different type of climbing. It was almost perfect for the job; strong, durable, flexible for my needs, I may buy another one. I will not disclose my usage lest I suggest an unorthodox use of the stairs. Suffice it to say that it's impressive and should surpass it for its intended purpose.
