Given the price and size, I was concerned. But I really like this lotion. The scent is quite masculine, but I can't imagine it wouldn't work for a woman too. That being said, I will say that the scent is strong enough that you'll probably just want to wear it on your hands. It's a refreshing, clean scent. I would like a candle with that smell. However, I would not recommend applying it all over the body, as the scent can become too strong. To each their own, but at least you know it can be overwhelming. I have researched Beekman since purchasing and they appear to be a very legitimate, well run company with integrity. I definitely want to try more of their products. I know this price seems high but I think you get what you pay for. I'm happy. I will redeem
