I bought this and 3 packs of cheaper brass wicks and wick holders. At first glance I didn't really like the Firefly wick holders because they didn't have any material to hold them in the bottle. If you knock your bottle over, the wick holder will basically pop out and you're going to be in trouble. But I used this product and this other brand in the beginning and they seemed comparable. After months of not using (winter, moving, Covid) which meant all the wicks had to be soaked in tons of lamp oil, these other brass wick holders burned with such a low flame no matter how low or high I set the wicks that it makes no sense, to burn them. Although my firefly wick burned nicely. So much so that I decided to order 3 more to replace 3 packs of the other brand I had bought. I used the same wick from another brand but changed the holder. It burned much better and brighter than before. I highly recommend these wick holders. Just be careful where you place your bottles lest you, your pet, or your kids knock them over and create a big problem.
