Well made connectors. The pins fit snugly into the sockets and should provide a strong, permanent connection. They are marked "AMP" and the connector shell material is durable and gasoline resistant. Unfortunately, the rubber seals aren't gas resistant at all and they flared out in about half an hour when I loaded them. The seals have a silicone rubber feel, so they may resist engine oil, making them suitable for underhood wiring. I would like to receive information from the supplier about the composition of the material from which the seals are made. I ordered more different sizes because I still intend to use connectors. They are a good price but I still don't know how the seals will hold up over time as the nature of the material is a mystery. **UPDATE** The seals will dry out overnight and return to their original size. Now I check by dipping the assembled connector in gasoline.
