During the winter holiday season this tape was indispensable. The outside plug for our Christmas lights was on the opposite side of the patio. This tape allowed us to slide the heavy-duty rope into a small indentation between sections of concrete and prevent tripping over the rope. It usually took three pieces of tape to meet my wife's needs - the first piece over the cord and then pieces of the appropriate length on each edge of that first piece. The tape is easy to remove from the concrete. The only place it left some residue was around the rubber/plastic ends of the light cords where we connected them into a longer continuous chain. This band has endured several heavy rains as well as several unseasonably hot and dry days.
