Review on 💻 MiniStation Extreme Portable HD PZN2 0U3B by Buffalo by Randy Albright

I love this little guy. 7200 RPM, no extra power required, perfect for my Macbook Pro. I run several Windows VMs from it and haven't had any issues with data, speed etc. The extension cable is also a good addition as on a desktop with the machine the attached cable is a bit shorter. I used a 2TB Samsung SSD but it had issues with data corruption in one of the VMs and was a great replacement. set a password for it). VM Ware played badly all day yesterday, I thought there might be a problem with the USB powering the drive because the VM went to sleep when Mac OS went into a splash screen and then into a long resume phase. Finally gave up, turned off VM Ware and ejected the drive. Plugged it in this morning and it authenticated with the encryption card but took forever to open. Thought it was toast but I finally let go for a few minutes and it opened, all data intact and now the VM is restored. TDIL: Take your time to fix all the problems Windows 10 and VM Ware Fusion have in store. up and he will survive.
