A dense and strong blade is not for beginners.
To be honest, I was afraid to buy such a product from a relatively unknown manufacturer. The blade appears to be well tempered and the blade definitely needs extra polishing. I just used a 3000 grit rock and a sling to remove any remaining burrs. After that I'd say it can slice through the fabric of time at least a dozen times before I have to sharpen it again.
