Restore your old cutting board.
I bought a 21 inch round chopping board at a flea market. It was in good condition but dry. So I went to You Tube and watched a video on rebuilding your cutting board. The video was very helpful, I sanded it down with 220 grit sandpaper which gave it a smooth and clean finish. The procedure required the use of a food grade mineral oil and a food grade conditioner after the mineral oil was applied. Went to Amazon and found Howard's products. I am very happy with these products, they worked great.
