Great item. I bought it to care for a fairly dry leather hat. I quickly applied it to boots and a briefcase. It really softens the skin, protects it and gives it strong water resistance. Note that this product almost always darkens lighter skin. Leather items can be temporarily too greasy after application and the excess does not wash off immediately as stated somewhere in the instructions. But don't worry - the product is a light oil and smells nice - and it either absorbs into the skin or rubs off over time and looks great. On polished classic boots - I have found that this enhances the deep, rich color of the boots and - in the long run - improves the shine AFTER applying a coat or two of additional polish a few days later. In the short term it will temporarily dull the shine of boots/boots, but in the long term it is good for the shine. Buy this product.
