The clutch is made of hard material.
. The vinyl material was a little difficult to maneuver in the holding plastic piece and kept popping out of position. The vinyl is thicker than the OEM material and does not flex well when changing shape from "park" to "reverse" to "drive". Not great, but will soften over time. The benefit is that it looks 100x better than a cracked OEM part.
