Review on Able Life Universal Swivel Table by Erika Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not adjustable enough but I found a way to get it working.

I've just bought a new power chair and wanted something other than a whiteboard that I can adapt to my laptop. I ordered this because of the adjustability. However, when I received it I found that my chair (Ashley) had two aspects that would not work with this one. First, the feet were closer together as the front/back is shortened. I've tried just mounting it on the back cushion, which takes most of the torque anyway, but the seat is too low to the floor and hits the bar that runs between the front and rear cushions. I even tried tying it to the table next to the chair, but not in the bone. I called your company on the 800 number I saw in another review and was quickly able to speak to someone. He was very nice and took the information about the chair. But he had no solution. So I put it aside for a few days before deciding to send it back or give it to my mom. sometimes it allows your brain to sort things. In fact, I figured I should try placing the pads left-to-right instead of front-to-back. I was never able to put both pads under my feet (just the back one under my foot) but it worked! I had to tie it to a table for extra stability. Now I can just slide the computer away and sit down instead of wrestling with the whiteboard to put it on a nearby moveable table. It's about an inch taller for perfect comfort to let it swing through my arms and not scratch my feet, but so far it's working pretty well. I am deducting 1/2 star because the footrests are not sufficiently adjustable and another 1/2 star for the protruding metal parts under the tray which still occasionally scratch my feet.
