I ordered this for my 5.7 Vortec 1997 2-Door Tahoe because I was upgrading from a stock 105 amp Delphi alternator to a more powerful 160 amp Duralast Gold I changed the alternator. All went well, but when plugged in, the 105 amp alternator's native plug did not match the 160 amp alternator. The truck will start but will drain the battery if left unplugged! So I needed it ASAP! I checked all local sound stations and car zones. Anyway, no one had an adapter and I didn't have to cut off my native plug. So I went here and found THE POWERMASTER 160. Just what I needed for a plug and play setup. I paid an extra $22 for two day expedited shipping and I have to say I'm completely satisfied! Ordered Tuesday!
