Review on Clarity 53714 Dect 6.0 Amplified Cordless Phone with Digital Answering System - VoIP Phone and Device, White (Model D714) by Mario Olmos

Bought this for my 83 year old mother who forgot how to answer calls. The big green answer button and the red stop button usually help her. She no longer dials the number herself, but the large buttons will surely come in handy for other elderly people trying to use the phone. It's also fairly lightweight, making it easier for her to hold on to throughout the conversation (IF she can even answer!). The only downside I've noticed is that sometimes it seems like she's in an empty room when she's talking. I understand her completely, and maybe that's partly her own voice. But I sometimes wonder if she's really speaking on the speakerphone, but I've confirmed that's not the case. Overall I think this could be a good phone for older people.
