Or at least "easier” for arthritis hands. This is the best rotary grater I've tried and I've tried many over my years. It's easier to hold than the big one I had and the shape is more comfortable than others. It's also easy to unscrew the end and take out the grater for cleaning. And he leaves a tiny piece of ungrated cheese as a prize. I don't see it as a bad thing. In the end, what's the point of grating cheese so as not to bite it off? Also, it comes with a smaller grater which I love for grating cheese with peppers. I hate cutting eggs and this is great for boiled eggs too. If this one goes to kitchen gadget heaven, I'll definitely be buying another one just like it.
