Review on GlowShift Tinted Color Transmission Temperature by Mike Ogunlana

Glowshift Trans. Temp Sensor (94 Chevy C1500)

I installed this on a 1994 Chevrolet C1500 with a 4L60E automatic transmission. The temperature sensor has a 1/8 NPT thread and the measuring connection has the same thread. Tip: Do not crimp the ends of the wires to the sensor before inserting it into the test port, as the wires will twist naturally. I didn't use the orange wire because that's where the name "glowing" shift comes from, so I didn't want to dim them by connecting them to the headlight fuse, I wanted them to "glow" as intended. Also I routed the cables that were supposed to go through the firewall into the cockpit and before final installation checked that the sensor was working before final installation which worked as intended. I've installed this gauge as well as a voltmeter and a water temp gauge in rotary gauges and they all look and work great. Highly recommended.
