Review on Motion Sensor Outdoor LED Security Light, Onforu 70W 6200LM Super Bright 6000K IP65 Waterproof Floodlight With 3 Head Exterior Wall Light For Entryway Garage by Jay Williamson

I bought 3 of these lights. They are incredibly bright and with 3 separate lights on each unit so they can cover a wide area. The motion detector seems to work well. The only problem is the hardware that comes with the lights. Two of them had mounting plates that we anodized aluminum and one came with a plated steel plate. The aluminum plates had narrow slots to feed the power wires through, which prevented being able to keep the wire joints in a mounting box. The plated steel plate had openings that wire nuts could pass through so they could be in a junction box, but the center threaded hole was too large for the machine screw that is used to mount the fixture to the plate. A job the should have taken 20 minutes took over an hour because I had to modify the plate to make it work. It's too bad the manufacturer can't provide decent mounting hardware because the lights are pretty nice.The instructions leave a lot the be desired. If mounting horizontally under a soffit the light needs to be about 5" from the adjoining wall or it can't be mounted. In order to install the center mounting screw the light has to swing back out of the way or the screw can't be tightened. It would be nice if the instructions provided that information.It does not appear that these lights, like most others I've installed, allow users to make them stay "on" constantly. Other lights allow you to turn them off then on rapidly to put them in "test" mode or override any timers or daylight sensors. If these do that, the instructions don't say anything about it.
