Well, in general the kettle is really great, I like it, it makes me tea in 3 minutes every morning. Otherwise it will drip out of the spout when the lid is closed. This creates a big mess. This is something I had to buy to prevent this from happening as I still water too fast sometimes. This isn't a major shortcoming of the machine, but cost it my 5x rating. The only other thing that stood out is that like any glass teapot it tarnishes under the glass between the metal and you can't access it, but I was expecting this and didn't feel like it negatively affected the product. Now I'm going to buy a third one because me and my son are clumsy and we broke two. Of course I would still buy this product again if it broke, the imperfections are minor and the product still works perfectly after months of mishandling. _____________________________ Update: I came back to buy my third kettle and they increased the price on it. so much!"Return window closed February 28, 2019"$37.46"^ This was copied from my order history, look at the price it's almost HALF! I'll look elsewhere. This WAS a 4 star review I've done so far I don't see the price change I don't like raising prices just because Amazon shows you SHAME ON YOU, especially in today's economy!
