I love these sterling silver threaded earrings. They are a good length, very light and sit well in the earlobes. They shimmer in the light and are very beautiful. The main problem is that one of the needle threaders had a slight but obvious crease. It bends easily and I wear it no better. I tried these ultra light sterling silver sheer drop earrings and they worked really well. But if you add some beads with some weight, the earrings will detach from your earlobes. Only very light beads will work, but they are inherently very smooth. I avoided needle threaders for many years because for some reason my ears had become very sensitive to them. But I wanted something I could wear all day and forget about. I wore these earrings all day and had problems. When I first tried putting an earring on my left ear, it hurt a little. The left lobe is more sensitive than the right. If you've never tried threaded earrings, just know that you might find them a bit odd to wear. But they are so light that you can shower and even sleep in them, although I wouldn't recommend that. The thread trimmers are made from a very thin box chain, and these chains are notoriously easy to kink, especially when attached to the stiff part that is threaded into the ears first. So just be gentle with them and you will be fine. However, I'm not too happy that mine is already snapped. You can see it in the last photo right after wearing it for the first time.
