LOVE this little bell! Nice, crisp, loud for its size, easy to install on my Cannondale Quick Hybrid. Fits most of my steering wheel. Yes, you have to "click with commitment!" to get a good ring. A sluggish click results in a slight "thin" rather than a quieter ringing. Something like "Oh please, you can do better than that." Some criticisms about Crane knocking out Spurcycle with this design, so to be fair, check those out as well. I also tried the black Knog Oi bell (great design, nice sound, not very loud) but this bell was much louder with a clearer and nicer tone. This black bell sounds a little different than the brass and copper versions (they have a harsher and more annoying tone to me) so find a video where you can hear the difference to see which you prefer.
