Review on Supacaz Super Sticky Kush Handlebar by Mark Deuschle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If that's good enough for Peter Sagan.

.then that's enough for me. The tape has good support and cushioning and looks GOOD on the bike. Let's see how long this lasts. It comes with bar ends and finishing tape. It was my first time winding core tape and I was nervous I was going to screw something up. I watched every YouTube video and was prepared for hours of frustration. However, I have found this tape to wind up very easily if you move slowly and methodically. I did it in less than 30 minutes. What REALLY helped was practicing with the old tape as you unroll it, especially around the hoods. I rewound and rewound the old tape several times to get used to the movement. Also after you pass the hoods, lower the hoods and check your work. I had to unroll and wrap one page again because I missed a spot. Finally, when you're done, I recommend FIRST tape and then Finishing Tape. This will help attach the bar tape first and then focus on getting nice, sharp lines with the finisher tape. I was concentrating on securing and wrapping the end at the same time and didn't get a good clean line on the right side of the lower neck (thank goodness). It's still functional and looks great from every angle.
