Too dry good for bathing

This soap dries a little less than normal baby soap. Doesn't tighten or moisturize at all. Doesn't slip when washing either. I don't need foam, but "tightening" that much is impractical. My hands were painfully dry after using this product just once. I live in a desert climate with very hard water and both are tough on my skin especially my hands. In wetter climates my skin tends to be oily rather than dry, but below 20% humidity it really sucks all the moisture out of the skin. I need a hand soap that cleanses but doesn't strip moisture from my skin (extra moisture would be great too), and this baby soap is definitely not the one. I am very disappointed after reading all these great reviews and product descriptions. This soap can work well in wetter climates, but not here. I wouldn't use it to bathe my dog either (she struggles with dry skin too). What worked for me: Cerave Moisturizing Facial Cleanser (+ as usual, after applying an oily cream). Cerave Cleaner is MUCH better than this baby soap.
