They are great compared to all other wool blends I have, normal thickness so I still wear them thin liner on the outside, I usually always buy boots at least a half size larger that have been machine washed with other work wear in warm water and then air dried on a towel. It's a good thing they're big because they hold up better, the top can be a bit tighter or less stretchy, but they seem to be holding up after a few washes.
