These socks are for my son who lives in Ohio. He spends most of the day outside and needs warm shoes. They were for Christmas, but he opened them early. He said they deserve 5 stars.

They are great compared to all other wool blends I have, normal thickness so I still wear thin inner socks. Outside, I usually always buy boots at least a half size larger that have been machine washed with other work clothes in warm water and then air dried on a towel. It's a good thing they're big because they hold up better, the top can be a bit tighter or less stretchy, but they seem to be holding up after a few washes.
