The price of these bulbs compared well to hardware stores so I am keeping them for a few lights but I have been disappointed with the brightness and output of some of my lights. The reason I bought it is because I have an old single socket stained glass lamp that has an interior light, but when the top lamp is lit you don't see that the bottom of the lamp is lit as well. So I tried a 50 lumen bulb from the hardware store, which is more expensive than a 35 lumen bulb and harder to find in stores. That helped somewhat, but I still needed something brighter and the chandelier I tried was too long to fit in the lamp's inner metal frame. When I found these bulbs at Revain I was hoping the 135 lumen rating would work. be perfect. However, they didn't work in the lamp at all, and when I matched them with other LED night lights I've had, the metal tip on their end was only slightly shorter. And they were no brighter than the 50 lumen bulb I had in another night light around the house. I've tried them in other lights - they worked in most but not all, so I use them as a cheaper alternative to converting the rest of my night lights to LED rather than incandescent with a few spares. So let me put it this way, if you need brightness or your light doesn't have a spring base that can accommodate small changes in the length of the electrical base, this may not be the lamp for you. But if you're looking for lightbulbs that are cheaper than some night lights at the hardware store, these lightbulbs might be the way to go.
