We probably don't use it like most customers do. We have a boat that is over 40 feet long and need to talk to each other wirelessly and hands-free when docking or otherwise maneuvering on the boat. Sometimes we go to remote sea areas where cell phones cannot be relied on. There are headsets for sea travel, but they are usually very bulky and ridiculous. So when I stumbled across these Vnetphone products I was excited and cautiously optimistic that they would work. Fingers crossed but I have to say they have managed two long boat trips so far almost perfectly. Agree with some that the initial pairing sequence is uncomfortable and poorly described in the instructions. However, a complex link only needs to be performed once. After that, the two devices keep reconnecting, although we've found that this works better when the "master" device is powered on first. When connected, we find that we can talk to each other quietly, and the full-duplex conversation is actually clearer and with less latency than when using a smartphone and a Bluetooth headset.
