I only upgrade computers when it's necessary, but when I do I do a lot of research to find the best value for money. I find my ASUS fits the bill as it has everything I need for less than $400. I made the mistake of paying another $50 for a script pen as I've never used it and can't imagine ever going to. Other than that, I've only had two issues with this laptop. First, the touchscreen doesn't respond when I try to close a tab, since I often try to close a tab multiple times and end up having to use the keyboard or touchpad to close the tab. Second, and more recently, the screen would go completely blank for hours. However, if I think I need to buy a new laptop, the screen will work. You can forget about ASUS customer support as they cannot be contacted which is particularly disappointing considering this is one of the main reasons I bought ASUS. My only other comment is that although I've always been a huge fan of Microsoft products and PCs, I thought long and hard about whether a Chromebook would satisfy me. Bottom line, I will always have a Chromebook as it meets my basic needs much more efficiently.
