We used this to fix some Bosch oven slide rails that got stuck after a self cleaning cycle. The good news is that it brought them back to life and they're gliding pretty smoothly again. This is quite a thick material and is a bit messy to apply. Something like thick and sticky Elmers glue. We covered the guides and bearings and gave them a little work and they work great. I've done my best to erase all the excess but it's not that easy to erase. The bad thing is that it smokes like crazy when the stove is on. . The entire first floor turns into a foggy haze, and it seems that the stove is smoking more now. Since this is more than just greasing a hinge, a fair amount was used. He has gone through multiple uses and continues to smoke like crazy. I really hope this stuff is actually food safe. We didn't notice smoke affecting the taste of food, but it's not good for your eyes or lungs. I hope that decreases over time, otherwise we'll have to take everything away and try something else.
