EDIT: It came with an insert on how to open it the first time, which I didn't even see until I had to open it. What I don't like: I don't like that it was completely taped. It was almost like it had been painted over or something. I had to use a razor very carefully to separate it. The first cat is still very difficult to open compared to the others. I am disappointed that the styrofoam from the packaging has stuck to the big cat's head and cannot be completely removed without damaging the paintwork. I don't like that the ears look like they could be easily ripped off. I was lucky mine didn't break like others I've seen in reviews. If they break, it's 100% on me. Since they go to my 3 year old son I have asked him 5 times what he likes more: cats or dogs and he has kept on choosing cats. (I'm pretty sure it's the long funny neck) He's obsessed with nesting dolls ever since he saw my Santas. I also think it's a bit overpriced. I think they should be $10. I think it's more reasonable, if not still a bit high in price. Also, my package was delayed by one day. What I like: I like that the rest of the cats, except for the first one and the largest, were easy to open. I like that they are all different and hand made. I love their whimsical folk art look. *Later I found this insert in the package. Maybe it would help if I saw it beforehand.
