My wife and I wanted to save on plastic so we bought these grocery bags. They do better than expected. First, they are big. In a bag, I packed a gallon of milk, four packages of cereal, a large package of oatmeal, a large package of waffles, and a small package of green tea. It was completely filled with waffles placed under the handles at the top. These bags have strong handles and a plastic panel (I know, ironically) at the bottom, which helps a lot. As a man I like that they are black so I don't mind bringing them to the store. I opened four bags in the shopping cart (you get six bags) and put my purchases in the bags when I went shopping. At the checkout, I unpacked everything neatly on the conveyor belt, told the cashier what I needed, and put the products back in the bags while she scanned them. That it would be a hassle to carry plastic bags into the house was a dream because as a man I could carry all four bags at once. A smaller person would carry two bags at a time; another significant improvement. One day I went to the store for a few things and only carried one bag, put what I wanted in a bag without a shopping cart and went to the checkout. Good product!
