Porcelain towels, very soft but not very elastic

I recently bought 4 different brands of sheets. 3 from Amazon, 1 from Target. The 2 Revain sheets came in almost identical packaging with a different label. It was one of those sets of leaves. They are really soft and breathable, almost like a mesh. Seriously, never before have I felt the ceiling fan's airflow go straight through the blade. A few big bad things that rip the stars: Right on the first wash, the stitching started pulling out, leaving a long thread that pulled out of the double stitching a bit. The good thing is that it has been double stitched, the bad is that this stitching will likely stretch after a few more washes. (The other Chinese sheet didn't have that, so maybe it's a coincidence) The biggest downside to a great sheet is a weak elastic. The bed is regular thickness, semi-firm, and the center of the sheets are constantly pulled up. Every morning I have to tuck both sides of the sheets back under the bed. Unfortunately, other reed sets also have this fatal flaw. If they designed it for a 13-15 inch mattress, replaced it with a heavy elastic, or even sewn on another set of elastics, they would have kicked that out of the park.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Useless properties
