Broken at base after less than 4 months of use. It might have lasted longer in a smoother car, but hitting the end of a lever that was too long broke the clamping mechanism inside the base. Update from 04/14/2020. I bought two. The first in my truck broke down less than 4 months after starting use. The second (installed in my car) lasted another 5 months, but since I did 95% of my trips with my work truck, its actual lifespan in terms of usage time and kilometers was even shorter.
