Awesome Replacer - Bandages & Dressing Supplies

I became interested in hydrocolloid bandages after seeing some Tiktok videos of them being used as acne pads. The brand names for this usage were very expensive, I just couldn't justify the purchase. Luckily, the comment referred me to the Band-Aid brand and said it's basically the same. I'm so glad I did and I'm VERY sorry they weren't around when I was a teenager. My most common acne is cystic and I have never been able to find a product that helps other than prescription medications which do not completely clear it up. They often lasted for weeks no matter what I did. Now, as soon as one pops up, I just cut a small section into these bandages and put them on. I checked after a few hours, 24 hours and 48 hours; the results were stunning. Inevitably, the cysts dry up, look best after a few hours, and often completely flatten/disappear within those two days. So far (after a few months of use) the longest they have lasted after covering them up has been five days which is nothing compared to the weeks and months I would have to wait before having these bandages. They also work very well for whiteheads, blackheads, inflammation and other types of clogged pores. Bandages absorb bacteria and oils, so using them as pore strips works better than any product I've ever used for this purpose. When I first tried them, I applied them to the most problematic areas of my face and removed them after 36 hours. There was so much really gross stuff on it I couldn't believe it. The overall appearance of my face is much better and clearer and I have noticed a noticeable difference in the size and color of my pimples. I took before and after photos but don't want to share them (I only know this from comparing photos and don't rely on memory). It's so rare to find a product that gives significant results after a single use, I wanted to share if anyone is looking for the same use. I can't speak for wound care purposes as I haven't had them since I've been using them but I would definitely try them if I did. One thing I would suggest considering when considering them for this purpose is the size and stickiness. The bandages fit in the palm of my hand (I usually cut them with scissors of any size and shape). In addition, they adhere completely to the wound side; I think you should leave it on until either the wound heals or the dressing starts to loosen, but I think this can be harmful for some types of wounds or scabs, but I'm not a doctor. professional. Overall, I highly recommend trying them out if you're looking for something to help clear your pimples or unclog your pores. What are you losing in value?
