After reviewing many types of child safe scissors, we settled on this brand. Our youngest granddaughter has scissors on her Christmas list and we wanted scissors that would be safe, durable and strong enough to use with the different types of materials she often uses in crafts and other projects. After receiving the scissors, we tested them in various places. Material types, cloth, thick paper, plain paper, and they cut through them very well. Having researched many different types of scissors and reading other reviews and now testing them, I can recommend that at her current age (not quite double digits yet) they are the right type of scissors for her.
