Pros: - Quick opacity change. It seems to get darker mostly as I walk across the parking lot from my office to my bike, and it doesn't take long before it gets lighter when it's not in the sun. - Impact resistant. On a ride through the mountains of southern California, a few pebbles got me right in the face, and the only thing that remained was some loose dirt that had been brushed off. Cons: - Price. This is nearly triple the price of a standard Shoei shield. Not very dark. I have sunglasses that are much darker than this sign, even when fully blacked out, and the whole point of this is to limit what I have to wear when driving and refuse to wear glasses under my helmet (very impractical for me).
