I have already had a similar chair for 7 years, I just needed a pair for it. The new one fits my husband perfectly (I'm too attached to the old one). Easy to assemble, convenient to use. My old chair is a bit easier when changing angles, but I have to make more effort with the new one. The new one makes a crackling noise at >140lbs but is generally comparable in design and quality. Upgrade to 3 stars: In less than a year, the chair has lost its original comfort and half of its functions. The quality turned out to be very bad. Nothing is really broken, but it does tend to fall backwards if you try to lean all the way. The seat became hard and creaked. The old chair is still good: soft, comfortable, balanced, quiet.
