Main assembly is strong. I've successfully used the adapter to attach a 40" TV to my arm and can position it with ease. My spine and neck will thank me ;-) However, the tilt bushing (even in the most rigid/stable position) supports my 18 lbs -TV's don't. The rotation seems stable but the pitch falls back to the angle (and I don't want to increase the drag any further. For my purposes this is still a big win. In particular I have a vizio D40f installed which is about 40" and 18 pounds tall (I bought a 400x400 adapter separately). Edit: It's been about a week now and I've found that I was over tightening the levers, turning the levers too little and getting in Totally wrong about tilt, after slowly adjusting each one (I mean no parts ripped off or broken off before or after assembly) my monitor is basic set up, stays in place and no longer drifts. Rating upgrade to 5* (from 4*).
