I have Alienware aw3418dw, this 31 inch curved monitor is quite heavy. After removing the factory stand that came with the monitor, I attached a new stand. It was very easy to assemble. I'm surprised how sturdy the stand is, I have a custom made table from Ikea, mine is quite large. I highly recommend this stand, this stand allows you to precisely adjust the angle and height. I didn't realize how much I needed this stand after realizing how much space I now have on my desk.

I just laugh at one star because my use case can be different from most. First, if all you need is a powerful monitor stand, then this is a pretty good option. Main assembly is strong. I've successfully used the adapter to attach a 40" TV to my arm and can position it with ease. So before I get to the point, I'll say the "cons" that I see in this stand: First, the materials don't have that "premium feel" that one would expect . That's not to say it's poorly built or flimsy, quite the opposite, but it doesn't "feel" well built when you put it together. Assembly is easy, I'm not a "constructor". Works well. I was going to install a TCL model 43S525 on it but it does an excellent job. I can confirm that this mount can hold a 43" TV that weighs 17.6 lbs.
