Fridge Odor Absorber

A jar of minced garlic was dumped in my fridge and I was having a hard time getting rid of the smell. I cleaned and tried regular baking soda. There is no joy. I put one of them in the freezer, the other in the fridge and the smell went away immediately. Now I always keep it in the fridge.
