I weigh 4'11107 lbs, 28" waist. I bought xs/s that fit my size. When my son was born in 2017 I gained a lot of weight. I worked hard and to this day i am 4lbs below my pre pregnancy weight and i still have a lower bump. i am getting married in february 2018 and need help with my wedding dress. this shaper has helped me look flawless! i have had NO discomfort from the Thong. I wear thongs all the time and it was ok. I wore it all day to see if it was uncomfortable, if I could sit and if the shaper would slip off. I felt good and it never fell! That next time I wear it it's my wedding anniversary!I'm so glad I found something to hide my lower bump.
