Just wanted to leave a review for those interested in this stool. I bought an unfinished wooden version to paint or paint to my own design (love it so much!). The wood itself appears to be of decent quality as it is strong and thick. One review mentioned that the legs didn't hold up well and fell off. This is partly true. The legs enter the slot at an angle, where their support depends only on the weight. However, I've sat on it a few times to test it and it won't come out anytime soon. Never step on this stool - it is tiny and not really designed for it, even for a child the service area (especially round stools) is too small for a child to use. I think anyone who buys this should probably already understand this, unless they've never had a stool before (I'm serious, not sarcastic. This is from experience with stools, you already know that). Also for the feet, it would be as easy as 1 minute to make sure they are safer. Simply put a drop of wood glue in each hole and leave as directed. After that nothing falls apart. Yes, having to take an extra step is annoying, but I wouldn't mind too much. On the other hand, I've decided not to keep it just because it's not the height I want.
