Does not fit directly on 98 Dakota 5.2

Order this as a direct fit on 98 Dakota. The problem is that the plug is installed one and a half centimeters lower by the manufacturer. The only way around this is to bend the aluminum tube and loosen/risk the weld joint. Even then, the electrical connector is so tight on the compressor that you can't pull it off until you've removed the entire hose assembly. You get what you pay for I guess. Buy a genuine mopar spare part.
