I don't wear dentures but I wear Invisalign retainers every night. I found out pretty quickly that they are very difficult to clean if left to dry all day. I then decided to leave them in the water for a day to soak them. Works great! The problem was that my cat found the retainer water delicious. I needed a closed container. This case is perfect for my needs. It sits on the counter so doesn't need to be moved around well (not at all unless you're traveling with an empty one) and won't be pushed around (it's NOT leakproof. It's just a snap-on lid that can prevent spills , although it does not expire). It keeps my servants with plenty of room for water. I take out the inner plastic screen and clean the mounts. I regularly rinse both parts of the container and clean it with soap and water once a week to remove dirt, and then let both parts dry upside down in the sink. I've had it for about a year now and it shows no signs of wear.
