My son and I have come to love stand up paddle boarding ever since the pandemic started. I got him a pair of water shoes, but he always ends up with rocks in them or -- in one instance -- lost the pair when he was stuck in mud.Keens are wonderful. They are well-built by a company known for its water shoes and comfortable land boots. This pair is no exception. It lives up to the company's reputation and design chops.The closed toe is nice -- I now have one less thing to worry about with my kid getting his toes hurt. The solid material also helps him have better footing and feel less of an impact by rocks he walks over on land. Likewise, he can hike with these for a bit too.Overall, a nice pair of water shoes for both land and water with good grip and protection.
