Not sure if this will affect anything over time but the paraffin has cracked and come loose and is stuck in the sealed vial. It's hard to tell if this tool was in a cold store, which is why it was cold, or was it dropped? This interferes with the dial reading in several places (see photo), but I'm more concerned about accuracy if dropped or thrown by the USPS. 04/29/19 - A new replacement has arrived and is in perfect condition! 💗 Thanks to Angela and Kyle for politely and quickly resolving this issue. These are high quality tools, not bulk junk from China, and unfortunately USPS doesn't handle small packages very carefully. It's *money well spent* on better brewing tools.
